Terex MPS is proud to introduce new options for the popular MHS6203 and MHS8203 screen modules including a wash plant option and a feed box and support structure. The screen modules feature the proven TSV Series horizontal screens, combining the efficient, high g-force El-Jay™ oval stroke action and a large blending chute for a range of discharge options.

Wash Plant Option
The new wash plant option includes a feed box with two spray bars and support structure, screen spray system with manifold and under screen flume. Outfitted as a wash plant, the module can produce high value washed stone products and can be paired with a sand screw or other sand processing and fines recovery equipment.

Feed Box And Support Structure
The new Rock Box Style material feed box allows for the conveyor to feed from either side or over the back of the screen, allowing additional flexibility for placement of the module on a compact site or as part of a multi- plant system.

MHS8203 Dry Feed Box
The MHS6203 screen module features a 6ft.x20ft. 3 deck TSV screen, while the MHS8203 features an 8ft.x20ft. 3 deck TSV screen.All Terex MPS modular crushers and modular screens bolt together on site and require minimal on-site wiring. Designed with logistics in mind, the screen modules ship in two 40’ shipping containers; the screen ships separately.

The Layher FlexBeam system adds a new dimension to the concept of Allround scaffolding for soffit access, gantry access and cantilever access. The Aluminum FlexBeam has many advantages over applications where previous lattice beams relied on time consuming assembly by traditional scaffolding methods.
In the past, constructing suspended and cantilevered access, elevated site cabin and pedestrian gantry walkway types of scaffold structures would involve an array of heavy steel lattice beams requiring time-consuming installation, and the use of further materials for lacing, bracing and tying the structure. This new innovation does all of this in a single product facilitating rapid assembly. The high load capacity Aluminum FlexBeam enables surface scaffolding to be efficiently assembled both suspended and upright.
Advanced Design
This well-designed product comes with a number of options making it extremely flexible in a range of different situations. The suspension shoe can be directly connected to the tie rod adapter, meaning the suspension itself can be extended in length by Allround standards using the standard adapter, male or female adapter. A standard connector is used for expansion within the Layher system dimensions.
Compatible With Layher Allround Scaffolding
The FlexBeam is a 280 mm deep rectangular hollow section extruded Aluminium beam designed for suspension and support applications with components allowing compatibility with Layher Allround bay sizes. The components include a suspension system for bridge or floor slab soffit access. A selection of adaptors allow the connection of Layher Allround scaffolding either above and or below the FlexBeam, ensuring convenient methods of access wherever required.

Structural Stability
The FlexBeam system is quick and easy to erect, employing pins with safety clips for ease of assembly and positioning. The system is designed to incorporate Layher’s steel or aluminium decking systems directly onto the beam creating an immediate working platform. This includes a Layher lock-against-lift-off (LALO) system that provides structural stability and prevents the decking from being dislodged in high-wind conditions.

Higher Point-Loading
FlexBeams are supplied in lengths of 3m to 7m. Where required, the beams can be joined end-to-end using the FlexBeam connector. The system components for support and suspension are located along the beam length, and allow much higher point-load applications when compared to conventional lattice beams. What’s more, the lift-off preventer can be inserted anywhere and moved in the longitudinal direction of the beam, fixed in place with a special bolt. To extend the length of beams, the FlexBeam spigot is available, which is inserted into the hollow chamber of the beam section and then pinned to it. The timber beam support permits lateral fitting of an extra beam. For example, it can act as a basis for providing fitted bays in curved sections.
The Cross – Connector – Two Functions In One Components
The cross – connector allow FlexiBeam, position one above the other and at right angles, to be turned into structure. Bracing structure for façade or birdcage scaffolding or even platforms can be easily using systems components, regardless of the bay lengths of the scaffolding or the distance between beams. Special structure produced specially for projects – e.g. welded steel structure – can simply be replaced by them, not only resulting in economic benefits but also saving raw material resources.

The First Step
The on-time project completion commitment was the essence of this iconic project. Execution Of The Project
There are two types of couplers that are being supplied to this project –
- Fe500D and Fe550D grade of rebar
- Fe600 grade of rebar
Since the project had stringent schedule and delivery requirements, it was important to ensure that not only the couplers from Dextra which are being procured and supplied at site within the stipulated delivery timeline, but also the threading equipment installed should be able to cater an average of 4000-6000 ready threads daily. Further, the main criteria for threading was to ensure minimum equipment set due to space crunch and meet the target deliverables. With three different size towers interconnected via long skywalk, there was an equivalent pressure on the requirement of threaded rebars to suffice each tower simultaneously.

Dextra India deployed an expert team of supervisors and operators at site to ensure that the threading of rebars and coupler supply was functioning in tandem. With our strong focus on customer satisfaction, all the resources were arrayed as per client’s requirements to ensure that there are no delays. The Palm Island in Dubai was the start of several touristic projects in Dubai to build up alternative branches for the time-off of the oil production. The artificial island, with main and ring islands, was in need of according infrastructure. AGRU products were used to protect concrete pillars for bridges against saltwater and to seal the main supply tunnel and under crossing. Due to the present requirements on reliability and durability, focus was on the selection of products concerning reliability and product quality.

The Palm Island in Dubai
Already during the design stage of this project, AGRU was involved in the technical planning together with distribution partner to realize the high set specification requirements. The AGRU HDPE Sure-Grip concrete liner protecting pillars for bridges against corrosion by saltwater as well as AGRU HDPE geomembranes for a waterproof maintenance tunnel and bridge undercrossing were chosen for the Palm City due to their high quality and durability of AGRU products. Bridge foundations are built with Sure-Grip lining to shield the concrete and reinforcement against saltwater and corrosion. For the Palm Island in Dubai, AGRU delivered 110,000 m² AGRU HDPE Lining Systems, 10,000 m² of HDPE Sure-Grip Concrete Protective Lines and 10,000 metres of water stop profiles.

Concrete Protective Liners Protect Bridge Pillars Against Saltwater
The Sure-Grip concrete liner with patented anchor stud design is effectively installed worldwide for more than 20 years fulfilling the highest requirements on concrete protection and is available in worldwide unique seamless width of 5m since 2006. Concrete protective liners are used wherever a concrete building faces tougher requirements. Effective protection for concrete is ensured by the combination of the benefits of special thermoplastic liners (flexible, ductile, no corrosion) with those of concrete (high strength, high stiffness). The concrete is effectively protected thus, prolonging the building’s service life. Concrete protective liners are thus usable in numerous concrete building applications. Absolute mechanical anchoring and bridging of cracks in concrete, as well as excellent shear and impact strength and the durability of the liners for concrete protection are just a few of the many benefits.

The Plastics Experts from AGRU Offer Everything from a Single Source
For the main connection tunnel from the main island to the ring island, a tunnel construction was built for which the sea was “separated” at a width of 300m with 30m high sheet pile walls and the construction site was dewatered using high-capacity pumps. The tunnel was executed as a cut and cover construction with 1.5mm thick waterproof concrete construction with inside and outside water stops and a prophylactic injection system. The external water stops for the construction joints and expansion joints have been supplied by AGRU to seal the cast-compartments for each concrete section and to allow expansion and contraction of the concrete tunnel construction.

Connection to the Mainland
Liners made of HDPE are characterised by great resilience and toughness. The main applications are in mining, landfills, water reservoirs, wastewater reservoirs and secondary containment. AGRU liners are also used in exposed places, such as water reservoirs for snowing systems. The specific sealing requirements in terms of best-in-class flexibility with optimum strength and elongation behaviour accompanied by excellent chemical resistance are state-of-the-art at AGRU. Additionally, a long service life is a fundamental requirement for liners being able to do their job
in the long term. These excellent properties have helped HDPE liners by AGRU to establish themselves in a variety of applications for many years.

The Tunnel Walls were Sealed with AGRU HDPE Lining Systems
Furthermore, the water stops were used to thermally connect the AGRU HDPE liner 2.0mm, which is the primary sealing of the complete construction to protect against saltwater-infiltration according to an especially developed installation system. After the completion, the 4-lane maintenance-tunnel to the ring island is about 25m under the water level.

They Saved A Total Of USD 24.61 Million And Completed The Design Phase On Time.
Along a new rail line in Manipur, India, which traverses mountainous terrain, is a 141-meter-tall bridge in a high seismic and wind zone. Indian Railways needed to ensure that the railway bridge can run high-speed and broad-gauge railway trains for a century. To guarantee safety over the bridge’s life span, Indian Railways had to quickly and precisely evaluate the potential effects on the bridge during any type of seismic event. They needed software that would provide reliability, speed and flexibility.
Indian Railways evaluated multiple scenarios against varying design options to pinpoint the safest plan with STAAD and used the software for detailed structural design, determining bridge girders could be constructed with a variety of steel materials. Indian Railways used Bentley software to dictate slope protection measures and to visualize rail alignment. They saved a total of USD 24.61 million and completed the design phase on time.
