US-based Granite Construction has won a $101m contract for the construction of Segment 4C (Summerland) of the Highway 101 Santa Barbara to Carpinteria project in Southern California.
The contract has been awarded by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Under the contract, Granite will serve as the construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC) for the project.
It is the second contract that has been awarded to Granite of the five-segment $410m CM/CG project.
Construction on the project is underway and is expected to be completed by August 2023.
