Ramco Cements, a cement manufacturing company, has commissioned 9 MW waste heat recovery power generating plant at its Jayanthipuram cement plant in Andhra Pradesh.
The Jayanthipuram plant is in the process of installing two more 9 MW waste heat recovery power generating plants, which will be commissioned in months to come.
The company is in the process of establishing a new cement plant at Kolumigundla in Kurnool district with clinkerisation capacity of 2.25 million tpa and cement manufacturing capacity of one million tpa.
The project will also have a waste heat recovery system of 12.15 MW capacity.
On commissioning the above-mentioned waste heat recovery systems, the company’s aggregate capacity of waste heat recovery plants will be 39.15 MW.
