The tallest statue of Lord Hanuman will soon come up in Bellary district of Karnataka. The statue will be 215 m tall.
The cost of the project will be Rs 1,200 crore. The statue will be erected at Pampapur Kishkindha in Bellary. The funds for the statue will be collected through a nation-wide Rath Yatra.
The Hanumat Janmbhumi Teertha Kshetra Trust will also donate a 80 ft rath for Ram Janmabhoomi, which will be prepared at a cost of Rs two crore over the next two years.
