Bouygues Consortium To Build Sports Arena

Aconsortium led by two Bouygues Construction subsidiaries has been awarded contracts worth more than
€100 m for the construction of a sports arena and associated projects in Paris.        

Bouygues Construction subsidiaries include Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, and Bouygues Energies and Services.

Under the contract, awarded by the City of Paris, the consortium will be responsible for the construction and operation of the arena at Porte de la Chapelle that will be a key infrastructure for the games which will be conducted in 2024.

The facility will feature a large 8,000-seat sports hall, which will host national and international competitions along with concerts, shows and conferences upon completion.

It will include two gymnasiums that will be used for community sports as well as serving as an amenity for residents, an additional 2,600 m² property development programme, offering a range of leisure activities and shops.
