$160m Leon Hurse Dam Project In Texas
Awarded To Granite

Granite, the US-based infrastructure company has landed a $160m contract from Upper Trinity Regional Water District for work on the Leon Hurse Dam project in Ladonia, Texas. The project, a part of Lake Ralph Hall project is claimed to be one of the state’s biggest water projects in the last 30 years.

Upon completion, the project is expected to supply 45 million gallons of water per day to people in Collin, Denton and Fannin counties. Granite has a long history of collaboration and experience working on complex dam projects in Texas and across the U.S. “Granite’s work on the Leon Hurse Dam will continue our role of constructing important dam structures and water resource projects in Texas.” Granite regional Vice President, Matt Shepherd said.
